Its lockable zipper provides added security and a shoulder strap makes lugging it to and fro a breeze. The fabric feels reassuringly tough, with just enough stiffness to maintain shape while still packing down into itself neatly. The grab handles are solid and well-positioned, though I wouldn’t rely on the shoulder strap for anything more than short distances—it does the job, but isn’t ideal for heavier loads. Lockable zips and an ID window are useful additions, and the Airporter works well as a soft duffel when needed.
